Being fully engaged in Vargas-Suarez Universal's artistic process from start to finish, the studio begins with data collection, materials research, writing, painting, drawing, site visits, proposal drafts, and further provides technical support for overseeing the production and installation of unique artworks presented and exhibited in commercial art galleries, public art museums, foundations, private collections and public spaces worldwide. Since 1996 the studio has kept meticulous documentation of all studio and post-studio activities, works in progress, completed artworks, and exhibitions. V-SU studio is open to students and tour groups by appointment.
Post-studio production and research has been conducted at Cape Canaveral, FL; Mountain View, CA; Houston, TX; Arecibo, Puerto Rico; Korolyov (Moscow), Russia; Baikonur, Kazakhstan; Bishkek, Barskoon and Jeti-Oguz, Kyrgyzstan. Additionally, V-SU's writings have been published by Right Brain Words, New York; Edizioni Charta, Milano and The MIT Press, Cambridge, MA.
